The marketplace is getting busier and busier. Making the best ad for your product is increasingly more important to get the best value from the platform and stay competitive. Here are a few tips that will help.

Do

Do post with pictures! You are 3.5 times more likely to get an offer if you post an ad with a picture than without a picture! 3.5 TIMES!!! Ads with out pictures also spends more time with conversations about “what does it look like?”. If your ‘conversations’ page is flooding with questions instead of offers, then this could be the easiest fix. So without pictures, you’re 3.5 times less likely to sell your product and your going to waste more time than an ad with a picture. Your call but I’d put up pictures.

Don’t

Don’t post an ad per strain. Condense your ads. If your A flower for example is all at the same price and passed QA, I’d put it in one ad. I understand that the individual ads spread your exposure but condensing your product seems to get bigger orders. It’s a one stop shop. Buyers want the convenience to see whats available all in once place. In the description area of posting put the strain(s), THC range if tested, weight per strain, and harvest date. The more information given, gets you closer to the sale. Many times, buyers won’t engage if they have to ask a bunch of questions.

Do

Answer your phone! Or get get back with a buyer through your conversations page quickly. Look, we are all busy. I can personally empathize  with the farmers life because I’ve been there. Hours of hard work and care is put into your product. When a buyer is interested in the fruits of your labor, don’t leave them waiting. I’ve seen a few deals fall through because the buyer went on to the next deal, don’t be that guy! Quick correspondence in this competitive market is paramount, and if Kush is calling, it’s probably because we have an eager buyer on the line.

Don’t

Don’t surprise your buyer. Your pictures should be a representative of what transit is picking up. If you are posting a picture from a photo shoot, that’s cool but please also add what the actual product looks like as well. Taking pictures of the actual product will eliminate much confusion and lessen the chance of any returns. It’s kinda like a dating site, the ad may sound great but when you see the product….well you get the picture….ummm… or maybe you didn’t.

I don’t need to tell anyone that it’s a highly competitive market we all get that. The marketplace wants to give everyone the best opportunity to get offers and move your product. Follow these Do’s and don’ts and increase your offers.
