As a part of a huge push we’re making to streamline the platform, we’ve launched a system that will allow users to post and bid on contracts for cannabis products. Manufacturers who have been sourcing on Kush Marketplace can now do so on a recurring basis through the platform. Distributors can post what they need for the quarter and have a portion of their sourcing needs, or even all of their sourcing for the quarter secured. For suppliers, this is the best way to get in with big buyers with substantial appetite for your material.
Here’s how it works.
When you reach the ‘Contracts’ page you may already see some active contracts that you can bid on. These contracts have been posted by users on the platform who have substantiated interested in the products they’ve listed. If you would like to bid on a product simply click the blue button that says ‘Submit Bid.’
Submitting a bid on a product means that you have the material available in the volume requested, and you are committed to selling it at the price that you entered. You will have the ability to add detailed information about the product that you’re offering, and make a pitch for why it’s worth the asking price. If your bid is selected, a member of the Kush Marketplace team will reach out to you to facilitate the introduction and the contract.
If you’d like to submit a contract use the green ‘New Contract’ button on the top right side of the page. Give a basic description of the product that you would like to source, as well as a photo that represents the ideal material grade you’re after. On the right side of the form you can detail the volume of material you want. The contract length and frequency will determine the overall quantity of product that is being purchased.
This tool was built for businesses that rely on a consistent flow of supply to keep running efficiently. You may receive multiple contract bids from multiple vendors. We recommend that you start your first contract term for between a month and three months.
